Winter has arrived!
The holiday season is upon us. It was wonderful to see so many parents visit during School Visitation. The kids had a great time at the November birthday bash. We had a wonderful breakfast for our newly elected Student Council. Congratulations to all of our new officers and delegates! For December, our Character Education Trait is Citizenship. Our December Birthday bash is on 12/10. We have our holiday fair from 12/10 - 12/12 so the kids can buy gifts for their friends and family. Also this month we are running our after school movie event to give our parents some extra shopping and errand running time. The movie days are 12/17 & 12/18. We need lots of volunteers for this event so let us know if you can help out. Before you know it we will be on winter break!
A special congratulations to Ms. Ottaviano's 4th Grade Class for winning our 1st Box Tops Contest of the year! They will be awarded an ice pop party and the coveted Clark Mills Trophy! Coming close behind in 2nd place was Ms. Riehl's 5th Graders and in 3rd place was Ms. Schneiweiss's 4th Graders. Keep clipping for the next contest which ends on 1/29. The top 3 classes will be awarded with an ice pop party!!
Once we are back from winter break, January's Character education trait is Self-Control. We have our PTA meeting on 1/16 at 9:30am. If you would like to attend, make sure to register through passage point before your arrival. Our January birthday bash is on 1/14. If you have a January birthday and you would like to attend, make sure to contact us. The winter school store will be held from 1/21 - 1/23. We will have lots of novelty items that you can't find in stores. The kids should have lots of fun shopping! Yearbook boosters will go on sale in January so make sure to watch for the flyer! Finally, we have our after school faculty challenge for our 4th & 5th graders on 1/29 so make sure to watch for more information to follow!
