I'm pretty sure that we all agree summer went by so quickly! We have spent the summer planning a fresh new year! Our entranceway is ready and decked out in all of our back to school fun! Our new mural in the library is amazing. We have so many fun things planned this year including the Carnival, a Family Reading Night, and so much more! Our children deserve a fun, exciting place to learn and grow, and we want Clark Mills to be just that!
I would like to take an opportunity to introduce our Executive Board for the 2014-2015 School Year. We are so grateful to have an active and supporting PTA membership!

Communication is the key to a successful PTA. We want to make sure that you always know what is going on at school. On the first day of school you will be receiving folders that will come home with your child. To be on our members-only mailing list, make sure to send in the $10 dues and fill out the membership envelope clearly with your e-mail address. Our active members receive weekly emails so that they can always be informed. You will also find a volunteer form to be filled out and returned. We refer back to that form all year long. If you can give us even an hour of your time, fill that form out and we will contact you when volunteer opportunities arise.
Also in the school folder, you will find our new Spiritwear flyer which has some great new items that your kids are sure to love. You will also find information on our year-round fundraisers such as the Box Tops Program, the Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Program, Shoparoo and the Target Take Charge of Education program. All of these programs are easy to sign up for and require minimal effort. You earn money for Clark Mills by buying products you already buy and shopping in the places you already do. All you have to do is sign up!
Come to our first PTA Meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:00pm. Here, we can get a chance to meet you and you can have the opportunity to learn all about what we do for your children.
