Special Education Parent Advisory Group
S.E.P.A.G. is a state-mandated group of parents, educators, and individuals concerned about the children with special needs and learning disabilities.
Our goals are to facilitate communication between students, parents, staff, the Board of Education, and the community. We communicate issues surrounding the districts special education program, for the purpose of advising the Board of Education and administration on matters pertaining to improving the quality of special education district-wide.
What We Do
During the course of the school year we have held and sponsored and participated in the following events:
Meet regularly with district administration to discuss parent concerns with special education Parent Forums.
Host Parent Forums to give parents an opportunity to discuss the district's programs.
Host parents training sessions designed to increase family involvement in special education.
Attend various school functions.
