February 3, 2016

Dear Pine Brook Families,

It is difficult to believe that we are now more than half way through the 2015-2016 school year!  Pine Brook School started off the New Year by providing students with many new opportunities to become involved in extra-curricular and volunteer opportunities.  From the start of our Intramural Basketball program to the Geography Bee to the Band and Orchestra concert, students were encouraged to highlight their various skills in an array of activities.  Additionally, Pine Brook will be hosting our Blood Drive with Central Jersey Blood Services.  We hope that you will support our Student Council in their outreach efforts and consider donating on February 18 between 3:15-7:15.  Please contact Mrs. Szustowicz with any questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment.

Please keep in mind that the second marking period ended on February 2, 2016.  Teachers will spend the following few days completing grades for this marking period and updating comments as necessary.  Please be aware that the final second marking period grades will be available for viewing in the Parent Portal on February 9, 2016.  Any grade listed before that date may not accurately reflect your child’s progress.  Therefore, we respectfully request that you not contact your child’s teachers about marking period grades until after February 9.  Additionally, please remember that no paper copies of report cards will be sent home, and so you will need to log in to the Parent Portal to view the grades.
